Red Flags Implementer Trainings
2017-2018 Schedule and Information
(Congratulations to all the Northeast Ohio Schools schools receiving recognition for PBIS in Mansfield on November 30. The concepts behind PBIS align with those of Red Flags, so we are rescheduling our Summit County Training to February 1, to accommodate those schools who would want to learn more about Red Flags but will be in Mansfield that day. We strongly encourage schools wishing to achieve recognition for PBIS programming to join us on February 1 at the Summit County ESC 420 Washington Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls, OH.)
Red Flags Trainings are suitable for school personnel who have an interest in school-based mental health education including administrators, school psychologists and counselors, parent mentors, social workers, health teachers, and nurses. It is also suitable for those who have received a Red Flags training in the past as much has changed over the past couple of years. Red Flags parent and school staff materials lay the foundation for a creation of a culture of mental health throughout the entire school district. The student curricula are applicable for intermediate and middle school grades, roughly grades 4-9.
Place and times: OUR SUMMIT COUNTY TRAINING IS FULL. Please see the chart below for remaining training addresses and times for the 2017-2018 school year. Times may vary depending upon the site.
